New Adventure

It looks like Ron's last year of medical school is definitely going to be our most interesting. The beginning of May I was told that my position as an Administrative Assistant had been eliminated and that as of May 15th I was going to be unemployed. I had known this was coming since they started restructuring the company last summer, I just wasn't sure when it was going to happen. It wasn't a surprise, but it never feels good to be "let go", especially since Ron will be doing all his interview rotations this year and we have to figure out how to pay for half of them. So, lousy timing, but not much you can do about it. Since we only have a year left here in CO we decided that I would remain home w/Aidan. We had already taken out a loan for childcare, so we decided to use that to live on instead. Aidan has had chronic ear infections since April (but he is finally ear infection free) and we are hoping now that he is home w/me where I can control the environment we (and I mean me too) won't be sick so often. So, over the last couple of months we've had a lot of fun at home! We like to play in mom's cookie cutters!
And mom's strainers!
We sit in the cookie cutter plastic container (which we eventually crushed as we are a big boy)!
We met some friends at "Little Monkey Business" and had a fun morning playing on the toys!
We love to float in the pool (while mom gets her exercise by pushing me around)!
We are now learning to climb (mom has been trying to avoid this as long as possible)!
And we spend many fun days at the park!

It looks like you're having fun together! I'm glad that you're able to be home with Aiden during such a fun stage. :)
