Medical School Graduation 2014

Well folks, we DID IT!! We survived four years of medical school, and some days it did feel like survival! My parents, Ron's mom and Ron's aunt and uncle (who live in the area) all came to the graduation ceremony and helped us celebrate afterward! What a day! Ron was part of the Military Track (HPSP Scholarship), so not only did he graduate as a DOCTOR, but he was also promoted to a Lieutenant in the US Navy! It was a big day, with much to celebrate!!
After the ceremony (which lasted almost three hours), we came back to the house to enjoy lunch, cake and all sort of fun medical treats created by the moms and myself!

Graduation Dinner

Graduation week was so exciting and exhausting and frightening all at the same time. I think we were all still shocked we had survived the last four years and Ron was officially going to be a doctor! So, they school put on a graduation dinner the night before graduation! Aidan stayed home with my parents and my mother-in-law, keeping them all very busy! Ron and I had a fun evening celebrating with our friends, as we knew that in a matter of days (or a couple weeks) everyone was moving in a new direction to start residency! There was super yummy food, lots of different talks about medical school and what lies ahead in the future! These are my ladies that helped me survive the journey! I miss them to pieces!
This is the HPSP Scholarship recipients...military track!
