Easter

Easter was very fun this year! We took Aidan to the city Easter egg hunt and this year he knew what he was doing! There was a ton of kids, but he still picked up a couple eggs! We went to church Saturday afternoon, so Easter morning I had a trail of eggs to his treats and he followed it like a pro! We had a fun morning with our new toys!

Royal Gorget Railroad

We are trying to do as many site seeing activities as we can before moving next month. Since Aidan is in love with trains, we decided he would enjoy riding the Royal Gorge Railroad. And of course he did. He didn't like sitting in the dining car, where our seats where. For the entire two hour trip he made Ron walk the train, 15 times maybe. And his very favorite spot was outside in the viewing car. What a fun trip!

With Ron's medical school graduation coming up in two months, I wanted some new family pictures to use for his announcements. We had some fun, themed pictures of just Aidan:

Bowling

I keep telling Ron that we never go do anything. I kept rubbing it in, UNTIL, he took me to do something! We took Aidan for his first first time BOWLING!! So fun! We had to wait for a lane to open up, so they gave us a pass to play a couple of the games in the arcade. Aidan enjoyed touching all the games, especially anything car related. He finally rode one of the motorcycle games with daddy. I'm not sure he knew what to think.

When a lane finally opened up Aidan could hardly wait to run around and do whatever it was we were going to do. The first time he got out on the floor he fell smack on his butt. Daddy dragged him over to where they could push the ball down the lane. He spent most of the game sliding around on the floor. He and daddy did pretty good together, even getting a couple strikes. Aidan was so attentive, always watching and waiting for his ball to come back! Hopefully we will do this again!!

Snow Days

This year, since Aidan was walking (and running), he was super excited to go play in our very first (significant) snow storm! Who doesn't love to watch a kid explore the snow!!??
